Coach

About Christy

As a coach, leader, and educator, I hold deep respect for lived experience and believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, seen, and trusted as experts in their own lives.

My role is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you as we explore what is tangled, unclear, or hidden—so you can weave what you discover into a strong path forward.

I am an ICF Coach-in-training, intending to obtain my certification in Fall of 2026. The ICF is the gold standard for the coaching profession - they set ethical standards, provide independent certification and accredit training programs worldwide. My coaching session prices reflect my status as a dedicated coach on her way to ICF certification.

A Respectful, Culturally Aware Approach
My indigenous, Métis heritage shapes how I listen, how I hold story, and how I think about growth—rooted in relationship, respect, and continuity. I approach coaching with cultural humility and a deep commitment to dignity, trust, and care.

How I Work
At the heart of my coaching is relationship. I create space where you can slow down, think deeply, and speak freely.
My coaching is guided by:
Psychological safety — a steady, judgment-free space
Honouring lived experience — your history and identity are sources of insight
Respect for your expertise — I ask thoughtful questions; you hold the answers
Working with complexity — gently untangling what’s beneath the surface
Revealing what’s hidden — noticing patterns so new possibilities can emerge
This work is reflective, practical, and rooted in real life.

Who I Support
I work with people who are often carrying a lot—professionally, personally, or both. Many of my clients are:
Health and human services professionals
Leaders and emerging leaders
Educators, consultants, and change-makers
People navigating transition, uncertainty, or role strain
Those seeking alignment between values, identity, and work

You may feel stuck, stretched thin, unsettled by change, simply sense that something needs attention—even if you can’t name it yet.

Experience That Informs My Coaching
My coaching is informed by 26 years in Canadian healthcare, where I have worked across clinical, leadership, and system-level roles. This background gives me a strong understanding of complexity, responsibility, and the human impact of organizational change.
My experience includes:
Respiratory Therapist (17 yrs of clinical practice)
Leadership roles within healthcare
Change management
Project management
Clinical professional development
Educational technology and learning design
Consulting across healthcare and professional practice settings

I understand the pressures of accountability, the weight of decisions, and the deep fatigue that can come with caring work—without bringing assumptions into our conversations.
