About Alexandra

I’m an internationally certified Life Coach. I also have a PhD from Oxford University specializing in narratives of identity. My first career was in academia. I had a mid-life crisis which led me to re-evaluate everything: partner, career, lifestyle and mental health. I learned all the skills and tools to re-align my values, purpose, gifts and vision to free myself from chronic self-doubt, self-sabotage and depression. Today, I offer these to my clients, those who realize they are stuck, they aren't happy and they simply aren't living their best lives.

I'm a Pain Doula. What does that mean? I work with people in pain to help them use it as a gateway for self-discovery. What do I do exactly? I listen and echo your story back at you so you can shape it anew. Why? To rid yourself of BS: the trauma and the drama, the self-deprecating voices and self-jeopardising patterns. We unlock emotions, declutter intrusive thoughts and release tensions. Why: for your healing and your ultimate self-liberation.

In our coaching session, we work collaboratively. Unlike therapy, we are equals. I do not tell you what is wrong with you or what to do; I do not have answers. I ask thought-provoking questions that help shift inner blockages to dig deeper for answers within. I also call you out on self-deluded narratives. It’s uncomfortable but it works. The key is to foster self-awareness and tap into your inner wisdom.
