Gay Lee Schumann

Hi! My name is Gay Lee Schumann. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate who is currently under the supervision of Karen S. Tyndall, MA, LPC-S of Plano Counseling Center in Texas. Prior to being an LPC-Associate, I spent twenty-seven years in the field of public education in both teaching and administrative positions. During the early part of my internship, the State of Texas began allowing associates to have their own private practices. It took me between six months and a year to learn enough about a private practice to feel comfortable "driving my own car". Prior to that, my time in education was spent making a lot of transitions, whether it was between campuses or districts, being promoted, or serving in new roles.
