Dawn McFarland

Dawn is a native English speaker with over ten years teaching experience. She’s taught ESL overseas in Spain, Colombia and in the U.S. She also taught Expository English and English as Academic Discourse to international students at Rutgers University.

Dawn has helped adult second language learners, professionals such as architects, psychologists, medical practitioners, university students as well as recently arrived immigrants from all walks of life to master the English language. Her superb interpersonal skills created a private ESL practice with over 40 students and group classes in major Spanish companies in Barcelona Spain. Throughout her teaching career she has served an international clientele while effectively teaching them to learn the English language, reduce their accents, compose effective business emails and help English learners in their daily conversations.

Dawn holds an M.A. in International Relations from the New School in NYC and a B.A in Psychology from Rutgers University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
