About Meg

How has your anxiety been writing your story lately? Anxiety has a funny way of sneaking up and taking control before we realize what's happening. Before we know it, life is full of racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, restlessness, headaches and/or stomachaches and overall discomfort.

Anxiety has played a role in my life for a very long time. Probably most of my life. I worked very hard on myself in my adolescence and early adulthood because I knew I would be studying for my MSW (Master's in Social Work). I became a licensed therapist and honed in my own practice of self care while helping others reclaim their lives from anxiety, trauma, secondary trauma, and burnout.

I continued to work on myself and between that and working with my clients, found that the only way to truly release anxiety is through using both the brain/logic techniques and the body/somatic techniques. I became certified in EMDR and became a Registered Yoga Teacher, incorporating trauma informed yoga into my work as well as within my own life.

I continue to grow as a practitioner and opened my practice to coaching as well. Sometimes people don't need therapy, but they need a bit of accountability as they're working on managing anxiety, stress, or burnout.

I love what I do and will continue to grow as a person and a practitioner as I believe life is all about growth and learning.
