About Harry

I’m Dr. Harry Somaraju, a 69-year-old author, researcher, and personal transformation coach dedicated to helping you achieve lasting happiness, reduce stress, and live a life of greater purpose and well-being.

For nearly 25 years, I’ve practiced meditation and heart-rate variability biofeedback (HRVB), combining ancient wisdom with cutting-edge science. My journey into personal transformation began after a 35-year career in sales, management, and business across industries like pharmaceuticals, mortgages, and real estate. Seeking more meaning, I transitioned to academia, earning a PhD in Psychology with a focus on mindfulness. I’ve also had the privilege of receiving certifications from Harvard Medical School in Lifestyle and Wellness Coaching, as well as the HeartMath Institute in HeartMath Interventions, and Stress and Wellbeing Assessment.

During my research, I noticed that many methods for managing anxiety and stress offered only temporary relief. This realization inspired me to develop the Holistic Approach to Sustained Happiness in 60 Days (HASH60)—a protocol that integrates meditation, HRVB, and evidence-based strategies into a practical, transformative tool. My book, Anxiety to Ahh-mazing in 60 Days, details this approach and the profound impact it can have on emotional and physical well-being.

To further enhance HASH60, I’ve incorporated three essential components—nutrition, sleep, and avoidance of risky substances—based on the latest research in wellness and longevity. This comprehensive framework not only alleviates psychological distress but also promotes vitality, resilience, and a longer, healthier life.
