About Kristy
Hi, I’m Kristy—a trauma-informed coach, space holder, and lifelong student of the nervous system, the soul, and the quiet wisdom of the body.
I created The Kind Mind Collective as a gentle, intentional space where sensitive, empathetic, and heart-led humans can reconnect with themselves fully and kindly. This is a space where all genders are seen, supported, and invited to explore what healing looks like beyond outdated expectations—especially for those who have felt unseen in traditional healing spaces.
My work honors your whole story without pathologizing it and supports your growth with compassion, not pressure.
With over 15 years of experience as a licensed professional counselor, specializing in disability, gender identity, trauma, and grief, I offer an integrative approach that combines somatic coaching, Brainspotting, parts work, polyvagal theory, breathwork, mindfulness, and nature-based healing. I’m a Certified Brainspotting Provider, Certified Safe & Sound Protocol Practitioner, and Certified Compassionate Bereavement Specialist. I also have a deep love for animal-assisted work and relational, earth-honoring practices.
While I deeply value traditional therapy (and maintain a thriving therapy practice), I also know that therapy isn’t the right path for everyone. Coaching offers a collaborative, forward-focused alternative—one that doesn’t require diagnoses, insurance, or fitting yourself into a box.
Through this work, I support people navigating:
Life transitions (like grief, illness, identity shifts, or new chapters)
Relationship and communication challenges
Burnout, compassion fatigue, and emotional overwhelm
Money and financial stress through a nervous system-informed lens
Body reconnection and gentle motivation around food, movement, and visibility
Emotional integration, nervous system regulation, and grounding after growth
When I’m not working, I’m most at peace spending time with my two rescue dogs, tending to my houseplants and garden, meditating, practicing intentional movement for my body, drawing portraits, playing the ukulele, volunteering, and always learning something new for myself and my clients. These are the rituals that help me reconnect—and I hope to help you find your own.
If my current packages don’t resonate, but something about this space does, I’d love to hear from you. This work is not about fixing—it’s about remembering, reclaiming, and reconnecting.
With Gratitude,
Kristy
