About Lisa
Hi, I’m Lisa Rhyne — Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Dancer, Pilates Instructor and someone who knows exactly what it feels like to struggle with body image, burnout, and confusing fitness advice that never seems to work.
Even though I now lift weights confidently, eat without guilt, and coach others toward sustainable health, I didn’t always feel this way. I used to obsess over cardio, avoid weights for fear of “bulking up,” and restrict calories to earn treats — all while dancing daily in NYC. But I still didn’t feel strong or healthy.
At 21, a blood test showed high LDL cholesterol, and I realized something had to change — despite being told it was “normal for my age.” That moment sparked my journey toward real health.
While studying to become a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, I started applying what I was learning: I began strength training, eating more, not less, and finally dropped the fear that food and muscle were my enemies.
In just a few months:
My LDL dropped from 119 to 76
My total cholesterol fell from 196 to 146
My body fat went from 24% to 18%
And most importantly... I finally felt strong, energized and confident
Now I help others create this same kind of transformation — inside and out.
My Approach

My Background
I’m based in Huntersville, NC, and my journey into fitness began early as a dancer, fueling my lifelong dedication to wellness. Now as a trainer and coach, my foundation in wellness is strengthened by a professional dance background and two years of intensive training at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. I am passionate about helping my clients surpass societal expectations of perfection, guiding them to prioritize strength and well-being for a happier, more fulfilling life.
I continue to perform and audition in the Charlotte area, keeping my creative spark alive — and I bring that same energy into every session I teach. I integrate my artistic passion with my fitness career to offer a unique and holistic approach to personal wellness. Today, I combine the power of strength training with Pilates-based core work to help clients build a fitness foundation that’s strong, sustainable, and personalized.
