About Tishona

I’m a Life and Mental Wellness Coach and the founder of Selfie Care Therapy, with a professional background as a Community Health Worker and Behavior Analyst. My work is rooted in both lived experience and hands-on practice, allowing me to support individuals in a way that is both practical and deeply understanding.

Through my experience in community health, including work with the PEARLS program (55+ individuals experiencing challenging transitions in life), I’ve supported individuals navigating stress, life transitions, and emotional challenges by helping them build structure, reconnect with meaningful activities, and take manageable steps toward change. This work is grounded in a problem-solving approach that focuses on identifying current challenges and creating realistic, actionable solutions.

As a Behavior Analyst, I bring an added layer of insight into how patterns, habits, and learned responses shape the way we think, feel, and make decisions. I integrate these principles into my coaching by helping clients recognize what may be keeping them stuck and guiding them toward new, more supportive ways of responding.

I also incorporate a structured, solution-focused method inspired by Problem-Solving Treatment (PST), which allows us to break down overwhelming situations into smaller, more manageable steps so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

In addition to one-on-one coaching, I’ve developed guided journaling tools and facilitated reflective experiences designed to help individuals reconnect with themselves, process their thoughts, and move forward with greater confidence.

This work isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about helping you understand yourself more deeply and supporting you as you create meaningful, lasting change in your life.
