About Guy

RAW acting studio founder GUY CAMILLERI has taught acting, both in classes and as a one-on-one coach, for more than 15 years. He has worked intensively with performers of every level, from those just starting out to Oscar-, Emmy-, and Golden Globe-nominees. His students regularly appear in major films, television shows, and stage productions in the U.S. and throughout the world.

Guy studied for seven years at the The Gene Frankel Theatre in New York City, working directly with the legendary Frankel, who himself worked alongside such theater giants as Lee Strasberg and Sanford Meisner. Guy embraces Gene’s motto: "The best of theatre is not just real. It is a flight into reality. It is the real taken and stretched to an artistic pinnacle."

In addition to his commitment to RAW, Guy has performed in countless films, TV shows, and major ad campaigns, with credits ranging from the indie hit Electrick Children to such network series as Magnum P.I. He has appeared on stage in New York, Los Angeles, and regionally, earning plaudits for his lead role in the L.A. premiere of Ira Lewis' classic Chinese Coffee, among others.
