My name is Gretchen, and I teach purpose-driven women how to make the world of work 𝑾𝑶𝑹𝑲 for them.

I am a career and leadership development coach with a background in corporate Marketing, Leadership and Employee Development. I teach women how to lead with authenticity and power so that they can increase their income, expand their professional influence and create opportunity for others.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲:
1️⃣ You’re frustrated because you’re not able to take your career to the next level.
2️⃣ You don’t have someone you can turn to for professional guidance and support.
3️⃣ Some part of you believes you’re not further along because your success is some sort of fluke -- and you’re terrified you’ll be ‘found out’.

𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.

One of my clients felt like she had to make 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 for work and wasn’t a ‘corporate fit’ after taking time off to care for a family member.

She returned to an environment of reduced authority and opportunity and didn’t know what to do.

We started with an exercise I call "Mine Your Mind", which is a series of questions that chip away the clutter of what you don't want, reveal your most transferrable skills, and clearly outline more suitable career options.

We discussed flat companies, flexible and rotating scheduling and other concepts designed to broaden her understanding of how she could do her best work – an exercise that helped her separate the work from the environment, which turned out to be her biggest block!

She decided to pursued her creative career with a boutique agency instead of a big company, and she's now a director with an equity stake.
