About Jonathan

Jonathan McRoy is a decorated United States Air Force veteran. He has served at various duty stations including deployments to U.S. Central Command theater of operations supporting Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom.

Jonathan possesses a deep passion for developing leadership potential in others. He aims to empower people at all levels to energize others and intervene skillfully to move their communities and organizations forward. His awards include the Wichita Business Journal 40 Under 40 Award, Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, and the Air Force Commendation Medal, First Oak Leaf Cluster. Additionally, he is a recipient of the Institute of Certified Professional Managers “Managerial Excellence” award.

Jonathan currently serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the Eisenhower Airport Advisory Board, and as a Commissioner on the Kansas African American Affairs Commission. His professional interests include leadership development, civic engagement, organizational development, talent development and coalition building.

Jonathan holds a Master of Science degree in Management, a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Intercultural Management from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza School of Business, a Post Masters Certificate in Leadership and Accountability and is a graduate of the Advance Kansas diversity leadership program and the Leadership Wichita community leadership program.
