About Kelly
My own experience of teacher burnout and transitioning out of the classroom was the spark that inspired me to start my business. When I left teaching, I knew I had so much to give—not just from my firsthand experience with mental health and my training in the field, but also from 20 years of career support expertise.
I saw so many other teachers struggling—feeling stuck in the classroom or unsure of the steps to take to leave. Some ex-colleagues and friends downplayed their worth just to secure a job that paid the bills, and it broke my heart. Around 40,000 teachers leave the classroom every year for reasons other than retirement, yet this isn’t an isolated journey. No teacher should have to navigate it alone.
I was determined to change that. I embarked on a journey to refresh my knowledge and upskill so I could provide the support teachers need. I’m passionate about helping educators recognise their true value, regain their confidence, and take meaningful steps toward a brighter future.
I truly understand what my clients are going through. I’ve been in their shoes, experiencing the exhaustion, uncertainty, and self-doubt that come with teacher burnout and transitioning out of the classroom. But I’ve also walked the path to the other side—I know the hurdles, the emotional challenges, and the practical steps it takes to move forward successfully.
With 20 years of experience supporting other staff and students access training and careers that they deserve, along with training and practice in supporting both students and adult mental health (including the use of cognitive behaviour therapy), and a deep passion for empowering teachers, I offer a unique combination of expertise and empathy.
I’ve made it my mission to help teachers recognize their worth, navigate this journey with confidence, and achieve a brighter future—whether that’s reigniting their love for teaching or transitioning to a new career.
I’m not just here to provide a service—I’m here to walk alongside my clients, supporting them every step of the way, because no teacher should ever have to go through this alone.
I can provide remote appointments as well as face to face.
