David Williams

As well as being a founding member of The Association of Change Management Professionals David also qualified as a Professional Master Coach at the Institute of Behavioural Coaching under the tutelage of Dr Suzanne Skiffington, practicing psychologist at Sydney Hospital and author of "Behavioural Coaching" and "Coaching at Work". David has helped many people internationally with life, career and job search advice. He is a Member of the Association of Job Search Trainers, the Job Search Institute and an Affiliate of the Career Coach Institute.

David is a Change Management Advisor with international experience across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and USA. Complementing his MBA and PhD he has deepened his knowledge by completing the Advanced Prosci Change Program at the Change Management Learning Center, Chicago, USA and is a “Founding Member” of this global “Thought Leadership” Group.

Prior to moving into organisational change management David qualified as an accountant in the UK and is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants and has over 25 years’ international experience as a senior executive responsible for implementing transformational change at all levels of an organisation.

David pioneered virtual change and coaching prior to COVID-19 remote working and in 2021 founded the Change From Anywhere Resource Centre.

He has significant experience in the education sector having been a Governor at Corpus Christi Catholic School in the UK and undertaken change assignments at Victoria University, Macquarie University, TAFE NSW and the NSW Department of Education. He is currently an honorary member of staff at Queensland University, Australia, coaching final year students as they enter the workplace to begin their formal careers.

Other roles include Asia Pacific Finance Director–Consulting at Oracle Corporation and Finance Director at Hannahs NZ plus other Bluechip organisations such as Garrett Corporation, Inchcape, IBM and Wyndham Asia Pacific as well as significant experience within the financial services sector at Westpac Banking Corporation as a Change Director, Lloyds Bank and the world’s largest Building Society, Nationwide leading the Operational Business Department.

David lead the SMS Management & Technology (now ASG Group) change management practice in Sydney as Strategic Change Advisor with responsibility for building change management capability across the organisation.
