I am an advocate and mentor for unschooling and respectful parenting. I have two teenagers, one boy and one girl, and an amazing husband. We have been homeschooling for many years and unschooling for most of it.

But, we didn't start out as unschoolers. It's been a process and a journey going from mainstream public schooling to virtual school, to homeschooling, to where we are now - happy and thriving unschoolers.

Getting out of the public school system was the best decision I ever made for my family. Now, the kids are confident and flourishing as they choose what to explore that interests them at any given time.

But do you want to know the best part? We are closer as a family and love spending time together as we all pursue our passions.

Now, my goal is to help other parents find their unique path and provide them with support as they experience their own personal unschooling journey.
