About sherri
After a long and successful career in the Hotel/Hospitality field, I made the decision to transition into the Human Services field where I found my true calling. As someone in long-term recovery from Alcohol Use Disorder, Substance Disorder and Eating Disorders, I know firsthand that change is possible. My recovery journey has shaped the way I support others, with compassion, honesty, accountability and hope. I am a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate through NYSB and a Certified Life Coach through the Certified Life Coach Institute. My experience working in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations has provided me with a broad perspective and deep understanding of the diverse needs of individuals. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with people from all walks of life and support them with empathy, professionalism and practical guidance. I utilize my academic training along with my lived life experience to provide client-centered, strength-based support tailored to each person's unique goals, experiences an aspirations. Witnessing individuals redisover their resilience and step into their potential is the most rewarding work I have ever done. This is more than a profession, it is my passion. I believe that lasting change is possible and I am committed to helping others create life changing transformations.
