About Chloe

Why contact me?

Are you feeling a bit low? Out of sorts? Not too sure what is wrong but just not that happy? Feeling anxious? Maybe you are wrestling with different life issues such as relationships, house move, career, parenting, personal goals? Are you wondering what might be most useful for you - coaching, mentoring or counselling?

If you are ready to make changes in your life, I would love to chat to you and help you work some of this stuff out.

What next?

Please message me with any questions you might have. Many people are confused about whether coaching or counselling is the best way forward so do book in for a free, online no-obligation Discovery Call to discuss this, along with your hopes and goals. If counselling is more appropriate for you, I will signpost you on but if you feel comfortable working collaboratively with me, we can book up a block of coaching sessions (usually 6-8 sessions weekly, fortnightly or monthly). Some clients like to continue with further sessions after that, and others prefer to pause at that point and check in again with me at 2-3 months to see how they are progressing and book more sessions if desired.

Who am I?

I am an Animas* qualified Transformational Life Coach, currently also undertaking training as a counsellor. I bring plenty of life experience into the coaching space and have been through my own personal journey of coaching and counselling. I am passionate about seeing people reach their potential and helping them identify what is holding them back. I use a holistic, integrative approach as an online Life Coach with adults drawing on a variety of styles depending on the individual's needs. I can help you on a journey of self-exploration which can lead to greater self-awareness, ultimately empowering you to reshape many areas of life. I do occasionally work with 16-18 year olds (depending their needs and hopes) but I tend to use a mentoring approach to this age group.

Previous work experience:

I started off my working life as a Primary Teacher; this gave me a wide variety of experiences with different ages of children, management, and opportunities to be very creative and messy! I was then fortunate to spend a wonderful year in East Africa working with orphans and street kids and making long-lasting friends with locals and international expats. On my return, I moved into nursing and worked in Burns and Wound Care at the fantastic Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead (made famous by the pioneer Archibald McIndoe whose surgical techniques were first used during WW2) After a back injury, which sadly meant I had to leave nursing, I spent some time working with a small Christian charity as a Solution Focused Mentor to teenagers, as well as helping to run wellbeing and resilience workshops for both children and adults under 25’s.

Personal experiences:

I have personally experienced many different losses; the process of working through those losses to a happier and more fulfilled life is what has led to my passion to work with others wanting change during or after difficult times. Over the years, it has been my privilege to walk alongside many people who have experienced life challenges such as bereavement, job loss, status, poor health, loss of home and life dreams. If any of this resonates with you, please do get in touch.

*Transformational coaching — as taught at Animas — is a powerful way of exploring our personal beliefs and values and how these are shaping our experience of life, and our behaviours.
