About Michael

Welcome. When a brain injury or other major life disruption or trauma occurs, or chronic burnout pushes you to the edge, standard productivity hacks and generic time management advice fall apart.

When I survived a ruptured brain AVM, my entire daily routine vanished in an instant. I went from complete independence to navigating severe cognitive fatigue, memory wipes, and intense frustration. Trying to force traditional 9-to-5 routines on an altered brain only caused physical redlining and burnout.

That lived experience became the foundation of my Cognitive Autonomy Coaching. I do not teach clinical theory; I help you build tactical, low-friction systems designed around how your brain actually functions today.

🧭 The 4-Pillar Coaching Framework:
1. ACCEPT: We diagnose your baseline reality without judgment, identify points of cognitive overload, and reframe anger from a personal flaw into an operational metric signaling a broken routine.

2. ADAPT: We manage your brain as a battery, not a hard drive by offloading working memory into external physical systems (including the Adapting To guided journal series) to eliminate brain fog.

3. REBUILD: We engineer sustainable micro-habits in 30-day windows to restore broken morning, workday, and evening routines without overtaxing your executive functioning.

4. LIVE: We establish permanent pacing guardrails so you regain cognitive autonomy, protect your energy, and navigate daily life with confidence and independence.

Specialty Focus Areas:

🟢 Acquired Neurodiversity Support: Stroke, brain AVM, TBI, or sudden disability recovery for individuals and caregivers.

🔵 Cognitive Health & Caregiver Support: Sensory overload, executive dysfunction (autism/ADHD), and chronic caregiver fatigue.
