Adoption & Foster Care Coaching For Real People

About Erica

My experience in adoption and foster care comes from both lived and learned experience. I have three adopted children (my best teachers!), my Master of Social Work (MSW), a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, and over two decades of professional experience helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of both foster care and private adoption systems.

Wanting to be a parent is an amazing life goal! However, it can definitely increase stress and anxiety when you are also trying to build a career, complete educational goals, or navigate relationship challenges. And if infertility has been an issue, you may be entering this already struggling with loss and exhaustion.

I'm here to support you every step of the way, from considering whether adoption is right for you, to finding an agency, to assessing matches, and past placement.

My goal is to help you gain clarity and confidence so that you can make informed decisions throughout the entire process, and I will always tailor our sessions to your unique situation. I want you to leave our sessions feeling competent and capable.

I believe that none of us should have to go through this parenting journey alone - and humor and compassion are cornerstones of my approach. Let's talk!
