About Presley
Do you ever worry that you were hired by mistake, and it's only a matter of time until your boss realizes?
Do you keep putting off applying for that promotion or new job because you're afraid you're not good enough yet?
Do you get feedback that you can't climb the corporate ladder unless you start sounding more confident and assertive?
Some of us are in a bind in the corporate world. It's a world designed for hyper-confident white men, but we were raised to doubt ourselves, to be humble, to be approachable, and to be more afraid of making mistakes than of missing an opportunity.
It takes confidence to make it, but it doesn't have to be their brand of confidence. You don't have to fake it till you make it or delete words from your vocabulary until you sound like a white guy. You can find your own authentic confidence, underneath the layers of fear of failure and making yourself small.
I help people find their authentic confidence using a holistic approach:
- Relax your self-critical thoughts with parts work
- Release stress and anxiety with somatic work
- Compassionately face your fear with emotional work
When your Inner Critic, stress, and fear relax, it's easy to see your own competence and capability. You don't have to guess and wonder if you're good enough anymore, or ask other people what they think. You can stand in your authentic confidence and navigate the system from there.
