I offer discreet online integrated executive coaching for quietly suffering leaders, senior managers, HR professionals and other executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs. This is to help them to successfully achieve their bold goals whilst preventing stress/burnout and protecting mental health and wellbeing.

Training, Qualifications & Experience

I have successfully achieved the following qualifications:

- B.A (HON) Psychology with Social Studies
- Post-graduate Certificate in Health Psychology
- M.A Psychotherapy & Counselling
- Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy

I also hold a Master Practitioner Award in Eating Disorders and Obesity, which consists of an:

- Advanced Diploma in Eating Disorders & Nutritional Interventions
- Diploma in Practitioner Skills for Eating Disorders
- Post-graduate Certificate in Obesity Management.
I have also successfully achieved a:

- Diploma in Counselling Supervision with Distinction and
- ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Mentoring

I am UKCP registered, adhere to the UKCP code of ethics, EMCC Accredited Practitioner Coach, and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I'm also a member of the Society for Existential Analysis (SEA). I am committed DEI and to continued personal and professional development and attend clinical supervision as part of best practice.

What Makes Me Different?

With 23 years of experience, I am a fully qualified, highly experienced and fully registered Existential and CBT Psychotherapist, Executive Coach, and Workplace Mental Health & Wellbeing Consultant. I have a proven background of helping clients across the public, non-profit and commercial sectors to live well and achieve their goals.

With a 12-year leadership history of my own, I loved leading organisations, developing people, and driving and inspiring high performance. However, while from the outside, I was excelling exponentially and the organisations were flourishing under my direction, internally I felt riddled with perfectionism, I was overworking, preoccupied with work, stressed and burnt out, isolated and essentially quietly suffering. At times I was managing incredible conflict around structural changes within the organisation without the external support of a thought partnership space. I eventually stepped away from leadership entirely to recover.

Having recovered and on a powerful journey of personal development over several years where I learned so much and made wonderful changes, today I choose to help ambitious but quietly suffering leaders. I understand from lived experience how leadership can feel, and how it can be challenging to speak up because of being seen to not have everything in hand. These experiences have equipped me with considerable empathy and awareness of some of the challenges my clients face.

My Coaching Approach

The transformational integrated approach I offer blends the structured, goal-oriented, future-focused and results-driven energy of coaching with the considered theoretical underpinnings of psychotherapy.

The mental health and well-being state of the leader can have a considerable impact on the success of an organisation and its workforce. By integrating aspects of Existential and Cognitive-Behavioural theory, I’m able to work in a powerful concise time-bound way yet in greater depth. My coaching approach hones in on who the leader is BEING in their work and private life to show up as the best version of themselves. This helps in coaching clients to establish what concerns them in the here and now, pinpointing the unhelpful mindset or internal/self-limiting beliefs blocking success. It also empowers clients to establish and connect to their talents and strengths, finding ways to become the best version of themselves.

It is warm, non-judgmental, empathetic as well as dynamic and challenging. It also inspires clients to create change by increasing their self-awareness, accessing their inner resourcefulness to overcome personal blocks, increasing mastery and confidence, gaining clarity and creating sustainable change.

Who I work with

My clients are leaders, senior managers, executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs. However, due to the psychotherapeutic underpinnings of my coaching approach, I am able to work with numerous adult clients experiencing emotional, spiritual, psychological, behavioural, relational and professional challenges. I also have experience working with people with high-profile people in the public eye.

The Coaching Process

At the outset following the discovery call, we agree on how we’ll work together, the frequency and duration, as well as pinpointing specific overarching goals. Some clients like to have a specific coaching plan, whilst others prefer to bring topics as they arise.

During the coaching journey, we’ll talk through the obstacles you're experiencing, the goals you'd like to achieve or the further success you desire. The coaching will challenge you to keep forward motion in achieving your goals.

Sessions will usually occur fortnightly for either 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. We may occasionally agree to add extra sessions if you identify a well-being concern needing imminent attention or a skill you’d like to hone in on and promptly develop further.
