Greetings, I'm Coach Shane.

I'm a health and lifestyle transformational coach, specializing in mindset, stress management and sustainable health/lifestyle practices. I have over 20 years of collective experience in the Wellness space as a Lifestyle Coach, Personal trainer, Nutritionist, Dance, movement and Martial Artist/Instructor.

I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a focus on trauma release and recovery.

About Me:
I was born In Canada. Lived overseas in the UAE for several years, then LA and currently based in Houston, Texas. Places on my "to travel" list: Japan, South Africa, Australia. Travel is in my DNA.

I'm an avid reader, frequent meditator, occasionally practicing martial artist, nature lover, Professional Artist and film enthusiast.

I'm interested in working with (But not limited to) both Male and Female clients in the EXPAT, Third Culture Kid (ATCK), BIPOC, multicultural, multinational and international communities. LQBTQIA+ friendly.

I coach those who are interested in learning how to achieve a healthier holistic lifestyle in order to become their Optimum Self.

I’ve maintained a Mindful and HIPAA compliant environment where clients could be guided safely into functioning at their highest capacity through year-round coaching, which afforded them greater personal connection, insight and functionality within multiple areas of their lives.

My goal is to empower you to continuously evolve to where you are, eventually, intrinsically capable of maintaining your healthiest lifestyle without my assistance.

I aim to assist you in building the life you want to live for yourself and loved ones. One with less Stress, Anxiety and Depression. I coach you to cultivate a Daily life with better health, more courage, confidence, authentic joy and fulfillment.

As a Transformational Empowerment Coach:
I assist clients in identifying where to go in their personal evolution, then provide them with specific knowledge, customized actionable plans, and the accountability required to get them there.

If they’re courageous enough to take that first step, I empower them with the tools and knowledge needed to shape what their future holds and give them a chance at the life of their dreams.

I do this using evidence-based, individually customized, Transformational Life Coaching Programs rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Somatic Therapy and Trauma Recovery process concepts, focusing on 5 core components.

1. Health and Fitness Coaching.
2. Stress management: Dealing with Depression, Anxiety, Burn Out.
3. Positive Habit Formation/Negative Habit Changing: Cultivating Self-Confidence, Self-Worth, Self-Compassion.
4. Active Listening, Being Present, Clarity of Communication.
5. Finding Purpose, Discovering Your True Self, Developing Agency, leading a Meaningful life and Living Authentically.

I utilize aspects of The DARING WAY, A methodology designed by Dr. Brene Brown, which work focuses on courage building, shame resilience and uncovering the power of vulnerability.

Through this process, clients are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back, and identify new choices and practices that will move them towards more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent and lead.

True Self Mastery is not a single point on a peak of a mountain but multiple points in the ocean of life.

Health and Fitness Coach-Personal Training/Nutrition Counseling:

NCCA Internationally accredited Nutritionist Certification by ISSA. CPR/AED Certified.

Helped clients in holistically attaining their fitness (Weight loss, Toning, Strengthening and Flexibility, Increase Muscle), nutrition goals, trauma release and recovery goals. As well as cultivated increased mindful and somatic well-being.

With a Primary focus on Deeping the clients understanding of their own CONSCIOUS awareness and focused connection between their will and the mind, body and spirit. Resulting in a healthier habits, lifestyle and increased consistency in positive flow states in multiple areas of client’s life.

This resulted in upward movement towards the client’s ideal self, based on their own unique goals markers.

Educated clients on proper Technique, form, nutrition and healthy habits by creating novice to intermediate level fitness programs which extend from tri-monthly into 6-month cycles. Eventually culminating in a personalized holistic YEARLY program for clients.

Clients trained with me a MINIMUM of twice a week, 4 weeks per month. Utilized Motivational coaching to empower individuals to take control of their own health. Assisted with accountability services and education to adopt lifelong healthy lifestyle behaviors in all clients.

Performed duties in a professional and ethical manner. Lastly, exercised tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive, complex subject matter and maintained confidentiality in patient files regarding various private health issues and situations.
