CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT COACH, ENTERTAINMENT DESIGN SPECIALIST, PORTFOLIO DEVELOPMENT, COLLEGE ADMISSIONS, PERSONAL PROJECT ACCOUNTABILITY, INTUITIVE ART THERAPY

Elora is a Creative Development Coach and Artist with nearly a decade of professional experience as a Character Designer for animation studios like Warner Brothers, FOX and Rick and Morty. After graduating from UCLA with a Design Media Arts degree, Elora became a Marketing Manager, handling graphic and web design, photo editing and film production. She then returned to her first love of drawing cartoons and sought out teachers at schools like Concept Design Academy, The Animation Guild, and CalState Fullerton for a well-rounded Entertainment Design education. Throughout this transition, she mentored as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and ran weekly sketch group gatherings for artists to build community while developing their portfolios.

After a bipolar diagnosis following her father’s passing in 2015, Elora immersed herself in neuroscience, psychology and holistic healing and became a certified yoga instructor and trauma-informed group facilitator. Then in 2021 Elora was awarded a scholarship for Martha Beck’s Wayfinder Life Coach program and trained in therapeutic tools such as Byron Katie’s Thought Work, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy).

Now as a professionally certified ICF Life Coach and mentor, Elora uses creativity as a tool for mental health and self-transformation. Referencing the work of Harvard Neuroanatomist Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor, Elora has developed a unique intuitive art therapy system called “Inner Team Building.” This approach combines her professional entertainment art experience with neuroscience, psychology and mindfulness to help clients build confidence in the outer world by befriending their inner voices. As a long time fan of cartoons, movies, anime and videogames, Elora also utilizes storytelling and metaphor to tap into universal themes that resonate with creative minds of all ages.

Elora is passionate about collaborating with creators to discover and trust their own unique magic, may it be through portfolio development, college admissions, or personal creative projects. She believes that a healthy creative outlet cannot only save lives, but also foster the skills, resilience and courage to adapt to a rapidly changing world.
