About Cristin
Hi! I’m Cristin, and I help people change careers without a demotion or a pay cut. My clients come from meaningful work sectors such as higher education, K-12 education, healthcare, performing arts, social work, and more, as well as stability seeking industries such as pharmaceutical, fashion merchandising, finance, marketing, media, and more.
My coaching is guided by the principle that we deserve work that is both fulfilling and pays well, without toxicity and trauma. We deserve time with our families, flexible schedules, and rest.
People typically work with me to:
✨ Change careers
✨ Find a new job
✨ Rebound from a layoff
✨ Start a business
✨ More closely align their business with the life they want to live
✨ Create the space in their life to do something new
✨ Step into their leadership
✨ Become a better people manager
I work with folks one to one at many levels – on packages and even asynchronously – and in groups, in DIY programs and short courses, and with resources on my website (check out my "Everything" page). All my packages come with practical, tactical support – resumes, job search strategies, interview prep, etc.
A little bit about me: I am a career pivoter myself! I've worked over 40 jobs in my over 40 years. I’ve worked in insurance, healthcare, architectural lighting (really enjoyed this one), private K-12 education, entertainment – amusement parks and casinos, non-profits, higher education, and even manufacturing. I've worked as a talent sourcer, recruiter, hiring manager, and sat on oh so many hiring committees. Most of my coming to myself work experience was in the theatre, and I bring big "theatre kid energy" to my life.
Personally, I love the news, disaster movies, mysteries, reading (libraries and book stores are heaven on earth), tarot cards, baking, making pizza, wine, whiskey, and being cozy. If I had to pick one above all else, it’s cozy FTW.
I am committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging, and justice across race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, religion, economic status, education, and experience.
If you think we would be a good fit, come on over to my website and start a free virtual strategy session. I would love to talk to you!
