College doesn't come with a manual, but it can come with an academic life coach.

About Mya

I'm Mya Andersen, and I know what it feels like to be unprepared for college.

When I started college, I had no idea what to expect. I was a first-generation student, and while I knew how to get good grades, I didn’t know how to navigate the unwritten rules of college life.

I didn’t know how to manage my priorities without a structured schedule. I didn’t know how to navigate the processes and expectations. I didn’t understand the language of higher education. Basically, I didn’t know what I didn’t know!

And I definitely didn’t know that so many other students felt the same way. So I figured it out the hard way.

Through trial and error, late-night realizations, and a whole lot of "why didn’t anyone tell me this sooner?" moments, I learned how to take control of my college experience instead of letting it overwhelm me.

I don't just understand the challenges of college, I've seen them from both sides.

As a former college administrator, I know exactly what makes students struggle and what helps them succeed. As an academic life coach, I take that insider knowledge and turn it into strategies that actually work.

Think of me as your personal guide to college success. I will cheer you on, challenge you when needed, and make sure you have a clear plan to thrive.
