About Charissa
We are currently navigating a time of ecological, social, and institutional breakdown where "Business as Usual" is no longer an option. In this landscape, leadership requires a paradigm shift.
As a leadership coach specializing in non-profit and church leadership, trauma-informed practices, and neurodiversity, I help you find the courage to lead within this complexity. My approach is grounded in "traditioned innovation"—a way of thinking that holds the rich history of your organization and the needs of the future in a creative tension that enlivens your present actions.
With a Doctorate of Ministry in Missional Leadership and experience in non-profit board service, as well as managing large, diverse teams in the high-pressure environment of an urban county jail, I understand that true strategy is a theory of serving your community in a world you cannot control. I am here to help you move beyond the "comfort trap" of simple planning and step into bold, impactful leadership.
Specialties: Non-profit/Church systems, Trauma, Neurodiversity, and Creative Writing.
The Goal:To help you create more small, everyday moments of leadership that fundamentally change someone's life for the better.
Education:M.Div, M.Th, and D.Min in Missional Leadership.
