Theresa Sullivan

My coaching style is based on the belief that my clients are intelligent, creative, powerful people who have all the natural resources within themselves that they need to create successful professional and personal lives they love. Every client is unique and I adapt to their style and preferences when we partner together.

My role is as a thought partner, creating a safe, trusting, and focused environment where my clients can discuss their thoughts and goals, reflect upon and question them, and then decide how to bring them to life. I have seen time and again that the smallest changes and 'aha moments' in each session add to create the most extraordinary results over time.

For me, witnessing how my clients' lives improve and become richer through our work is the most meaningful measure of success and why I love doing it.

About me:

I did my undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame in Information Systems and later earned an MBA and MS from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Business. I became a Martha Beck certified coach in 2013 to become a better leader and since then have had the honor of coaching high-achieving professionals from academics and entrepreneurs to corporate individual contributors and C-level executives in my private practice, as well as a coach for BetterUp. I am currently completing my credentials for ICF PCC (Professional Certified Coach) certification expected in December 2022.

My corporate experience is in technology consulting and large enterprise sales at large companies like Deloitte and IBM as well as start-ups like LinkedIn and BetterUp. In that capacity, I worked with C-level executives and their direct reports in several industries including high tech, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.

I live in the suburbs of Chicago with my husband, three kids, a cat (Teebs) and a dog (Cleo). I love reading, drinking tea all day, and helping people as they create lives that are enjoyable, prosperous, and fulfilling.
