Martin Slaney

I’m currently working as a product strategy consultant for some of the world’s largest brands , as well as helping other startups and corporates with freelance strategy and delivery projects.

I’ve co-founded fintechs including Openwage and Dabbl, grown and “built” new products and ventures across companies of all sizes like Blackrock and Royal Mint, and worked with fintech consultancy 11:FS on discovery projects for Royal Bank of Scotland, Atom Bank and Absa Bank. I’ve freelanced with other brands like Profile Pensions and Wise on new propositions. I’ve also built and led Product functions as CPO for construction tech leader Asite and fintech GFT (acquired by City Index).

I run a product coaching service, am a mentor for the accelerator Mass Challenge, and collaborate with General Assembly with courses to help aspiring product leaders level up their skills. I also run ad hoc workshops on various product themes including discovery, strategy and company culture.
