About SRLC

My journey to becoming a life coach began when I was substituting as a paraprofessional in the public school system. I was filling in for those who assisted the teachers and students with strategies to perform daily tasks.

After subbing as a parapro, I accepted the position of a summer camp counselor and then a full time teacher assistant at an alternative school. My experience from those job positions motivated me to research how and why I felt the need to help others with the issues they faced in life.

Before I got too deep in helping others, I went to school for a short while to major in psychology. Unable to finish school due to life changes, I accepted the position at a public middle school to be the In-School Suspension teacher. From there I developed a stronger sense of how to apply what I learned to become a behavior therapist.

I was strongly encouraged to become a life coach after noticing that the majority of my job titles and personal traits related to the many things that describe a life coach.
