When I obtained my Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology, my Dad was in the process of dying from cancer. In fact, I mid-wifed him through to the other side, and then completely fell apart. But, it was my schooling that helped me cope with before and after his death by studying Dreamwork, Shamanism, EcoSpirituality, and Creative Expression for Healing.

I've often wondered where those choices would lead me, until quite recently when I faced a major medical issue related to having cancer many years ago. It was then I realized that in order to fully enjoy the life I have now, I needed to follow the energy of joy. For me, that is helping others with finding more meaning through the practice of dreamwork and other approaches along with a side gig of throwing pottery.
